Litec has chosen Cinecittà Studios in order to be closer to its customers in centre-southern Italy by getting to know them more deeply and professionally, looking after them constantly, meeting their specific needs of cooperation, and creating mutual value.

Litec has won the PLASA Award for Innovation 2007, one of the most prestigious international awards for innovation in the entertainment sector, with the products Exe-Lodestar and Datalogger. The revolutionary chain hoist developed by Litec in cooperation with Columbus McKinnon achieved two of the most important European prizes in less than 3 months.

An agreement has been signed between Columbus McKinnon and Litec for the creation of a new line of electric chain hoists and for a cooperation in some R&D areas. Columbus McKinnon is the main worldwide producer of chain hoists for entertainment use. Litec, with its division EXE, is committed to developing new technologies applied to structures of the whole hoist and staging movement world.

On 1st March 2007 Staging SK was set up, a company originated from the takeover of a previous Litec supplier. On the Slovakian premises all the series production is going to be managed.
The extension work of the area has already started and is likely to be completed in June.

Litec welcomes our new colleagues from Tomcat and Brilliant Stages that today become part of the Staging Systems Business Unit within the Photographic Division of the Vitec Group.

We have finished the move on the new building. From Marcon, in the province of Venice, we are now in Mogliano Veneto, in the province of Treviso.

Libera 105will be on show at Plasa, and all its features will be illustrated. Libera 105 joins the other Libera 52 and Libera 76 systems.
The specifications and pictures of events where Libera systems have been used are available in a leaflet at the stand.

The new catalogue exclusively dedicated to the world of rigging contains the Columbus McKinnon hoist range, Exe motor controllers, all rigging accessories and a work clothing line devoted to riggers.

We are glad to announce the agreement with the Company Louis Reyners B.V. for the exclusive distribution in Holland.

Litec is making its entry into the world of chain hoists as a dealer for CM LODESTAR and CM PROSTAR.
The chain hoist product ranges, and all accessories related to their use and maintenance, will be handled by Litec's new "Rigging" department.
