            <title>TOMCAT Appoints Mike Garl as President and General Manager</title>

            <description><![CDATA[&ldquo;I am very excited about the new professional journey ahead of me and the opportunity to work with a company that has the history and pedigree of <strong>TOMCAT</strong>,&rdquo; said Garl. &ldquo;I believe the future is very bright for <strong>TOMCAT </strong>and the other Vitec Group Staging Systems brands, Litec and Brilliant Stages. I&rsquo;m delighted to join the exceptional international management team to continue leading the strong brand and dedicated team forward, furthering the tradition of product innovation, quality and customer service.&rdquo; <br /><br />Garl studied at the Pasadena Playhouse and Carnegie-Mellon University, where he earned a degree from the School of Drama in 1972. He served as a technical director, lighting designer and sound designer during college. In addition, he spent five years as the lighting designer and technical director for the summer seasons of Opera Barga in Barga (Lucca) Italy. <br /><br />After graduation, Garl worked at the University of Rochester and joined the faculty in the theatre department at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. Prior to helping establish James Thomas Engineering in the USA, he spent five years with Holiday on Ice as the sound engineer, master electrician and lighting designer/director. <br /><br />Garl has been a member of the PLASA (formerly ESTA) Technical Standards Council since its inception in 1994, serving as its chairman since 2005. He is the past chairman of the Rigging Working Group and is an active member of the E1.2 and E1.21 Task Groups. As a result of his dedication to the organization, Mike Garl received the ESTA Eva Swan Award in 2001.]]></description>

            <title>New LITEC distributors in Sweden and Poland</title>

            <description><![CDATA[<div>LITEC is pleased to announce the appointment of <strong>two new distributors in Sweden and Poland, LIGHT PARTNER and TEATR</strong> respectively. <br /><br /></div>
<div><strong>Light Partner is already the LITEC distributor in Denmark</strong>. The choice of them for the distribution also in Sweden was absolutely natural because<strong> they are strong, reliable, dynamic and proactive</strong>. They operate in several markets such as the entertainment, architectural, exhibition, TV and theatre among the many. In a short time they have succeeded in opening the Danish market, and now they are ready to amplify LITEC exposure and further develop its brand image in Sweden too. <br /><br /></div>
<div><strong>Stig Meyer Jensen, Managing Director of Light Partner</strong>, stated: &ldquo;<span>Having found the right formula for LITEC products in Denmark, it seemed <strong>a very simple choice to expand into Sweden when offered</strong>. Another field of their activities is fitments of Cultural Centers in scenic equipment. Willing to equip the scenes in fully professional systems, they have developed a close collaboration with companies known for their solidness, which offer the highest level equipment and search for new solutions. <br /><br /></div>

It is<strong> user-friendly</strong>, <em>very simple to navigate</em> and you can find all the information you are looking for very easily.<br /><br /><strong>Great emphasis is given to installation pictures with the use of LITEC trusses</strong> both on the homepage and in the photo gallery. They reflect some of the most relevant markets, such as entertainment, exhibition, architecture and leisure. </div>

            <title>LITEC at LDI 2011</title>

            <description><![CDATA[<div>LITEC participated in LDI trade show, which took place<strong> in Orlando from 28 to 30<sup>th</sup> October 2011 together with its sister companies, TOMCAT and BRILLIANT STAGES</strong>, under the aegis of The Vitec Group plc. For the very first time the three brands displayed their uniqueness and strength sharing a 30&rsquo;&rsquo;x40&rsquo;&rsquo; booth and showing some of their most significant products and projects.<br /></div>
<div>During the 3-day event <strong>LITEC presented some of their recent extraordinary installations</strong>. In particular, great emphasis was given to the highest stage in the world of the Vasco Live Kom 011, made in MyT truss. <strong>LITEC has always been at the forefront for innovation and search of solutions and technical support, for tailor-made projects as well</strong>. </div>

<div><strong>TOMCAT celebrated their 25<sup>th</sup> Anniversary</strong> displaying their most important historical stages in 4 panels titled Inception, Expansion, Innovation and Escalation. TOMCAT also conducted a session at LDI2011: Strength Under Pressure&mdash;What Makes A Truss System Safe Indoors &amp; Out, as part of LDI's Rigging and Electrical Bootcamp - continuing their commitment to training and education in the entertainment and leisure industry. This session included lively discussions about real world stories and situations.</div>

<div><strong>BRILLIANT STAGES sets the stage for success</strong>, and at LDI they had the opportunity to prove it. They are world leaders in specialist stage set fabrication. Their systems, techniques and expertise have been at the core of some of the biggest touring shows ever produced. They have recently contributed to constructing the amazing Take That&rsquo;s &ldquo;Progress&rdquo; Tour stage working with one of the world&rsquo;s leading designers, Es Devlin. </div>]]></description>

In addition, visitors will learn more about The Vitec group, the UK based group TOMCAT belongs to, as well as the recent projects created by its staging sister companies in Europe Litec and Brilliant Stages.</p>
