MSC Fantasia is the largest ship ever built for a European ship owner. A travelling universe that offers the maximum in entertainment and well-being. Sophia Loren, a true legend, cut the ceremonial ribbon that released a bottle of champagne to break across the bow of the new ship at its christening. The official christening ceremony was preceded by a suitably glamorous evening of entertainment, staged in an innovative, purpose-built structure. The dimensions were extraordinary 30m (breadth) x21 (height) x70m (length) for a capacity of 2,500 people. The main grid was made with MyT truss.
